Famous Attractions:

Guangzhou's Zero Point

Located in Center Square of the People’s Park of Yuexiu District, the circular center is both a testimony to the 2,200-year history of the city of Guangzhou and a geographical original point of Guangzhou.

Five-Ram Statue

Erected on the top of Yuexiu Mountain fifty years ago, the Five-Ram Statue has been the landmark of Guangzhou ever since.

Pearl River

2,129 kilometers in length, the Pearl River is the third longest river in China. Converging in Guangzhou, the three reputed tributaries, the East River, the West River and the North River, give birth to a city with mind-numbing beauty.

Baiyun Mountain

Baiyun Mountain is a household scenic spot in Guangzhou, which has been renowned as the "No. 1 Scene" of Guangzhou since ancient times. Here, you can see an endless stream of mountain climbers every day. On the Double Ninth Festival, it is customary for Guangzhou citizens to climb Baiyun Mountain and take in its beauty.

Canton Tower

Canton Tower, the new landmark building of Guangzhou is a must-go scenic spot for tourists. 600 meters above sea level, Canton Tower, which is the highest TV tower of the world, tops the city skyline. In the tourist hall at the top of the tower, you can get a panoramic view of the spectacular city landscape.

New Central Axis

If the traces of Guangzhou history can be found in the old central axis, then the future of Guangzhou can be seen in the new axis. In this new central axis that stretches from Guangzhou East Railway Station to Tianhe Sports Center, from Zhujiang New Town to Huacheng Square and Haixinsha, you will marvel at the beauty, prosperity and advancement of this first-tier city in China. You will also get a better picture of why Guangzhou is called “a city saloon”.

Old City Axis

The old city axis of Guangzhou gradually took shape as the city of Guangzhou evolved, which is marked by a variety of fine historic buildings and monuments. The old city axis is embedded with rich historical information, which is, metaphorically speaking, a gigantic history book, recording countless legends and history stories. It is a real golden cultural lifeline of Guangzhou.

Xiguan Heritage

Xiguan, which boasts a history of two thousand years, is endowed with rich cultural heritage. People passing by the Litchi Bay Creek (Lizhiwan Creek) would reminisce about "litchi trees with reds fruits lining the emerald creek". The ancient alleys and the reflection of the hills on the surface of the creek give people the feeling of backwards time travel.

Chen Clan Academy

Built at the end of Qing Dynasty (1616-1911), this academy is known world-wide for its exquisite decoration and craftsmanship.

Nansha Wetland Park

No more land farmland cultivation and house construction for humans, but preserved wetlands for birds. This is how Guangzhou’s Nansha District has switched its focus from land reclamation to wetland preservation.
